Jade Jewel "JJ" Burnham, age 21, of Elsmere DE, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Jades smile could light up any room. She was beautiful , kind and fiesty all tied into a barely five” foot young adult. JJ loved to listen to music and to dance. She was extremely talented with doing make up and hair. Anything she did she excelled at. She loved her daughter more than life itself. Always strived for the best for her. Anyone who knew Jade knew her love for her daughter.
Jade by choice was an organ donor and was able to donate five major organs. Although unfortunate circumstances, she was able to pay forward life and should be honored as a hero in that regard.
She is preceded in death by her uncle, Michael Nardone; and dog, Yahoo.
Survivors include her daughter, Julianna J. Ackerman; parents, Victoria Balay (Edward Clausen) and Herbert Burnham (Patricia Widamayer); siblings, Tiffany Balay, Tara Burnham and Mason Burnham. Aunts, Debbi Pilkington, Jackie Schaffer, Michelle Dunn and Victoria Gaither; Uncles, Brian Keeley, Andrew Miller Penny and Larry Piasecki; grandparents, Rhonda and James Balay, and other extended family.
A public candle lighting memorial will be held on March 1st , at Banning Park 100 Middleboro Rd Wilmington DE 19804 @ 6:30-7:30 ( if bad weather, will be postponed.)
A private memorial will be held for the family.
