Age 85, of Elsmere, DE, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010.
Kelly retired after over 25 years of service from Chrysler where he worked in the paint department. He was a WWII Army veteran. Kelly was a member of the UAW and enjoyed NASCAR and Sprint car racing.
Kelly was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Martha Ann Archer, who passed away in 2004. He is survived by his children; James K. Archer, Jr., Kathy Grandell, David Archer, Peggy Archer Tartaglia and Donna Grudzelak, his sisters; Pauline Nichols and Opal Jackson, his 11 grandchildren and his 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Noon on Thursday, September 16 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
