James H. Brown, III, age 57, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019.
Jim was the owner of JB Improvements and previously worked as a contractor, and auto and motorcycle mechanic. He served in the Navy for 4 years in the early 1980’s. Jim enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, James H. Brown, Jr and his brother, Matthew Snyder.
Survivors include his daughter, Tara Hofmann; his mother, Ginny Logan; his siblings, Tami Wilt, John Brown, John Snyder (Sheri) and Daphne Brown Jensen and extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be 7pm on Thursday, August 8 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 6. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
