As 79, of Stanton, DE, passed away, Thursday, April 2, 2009.
"Jimmy Mack" worked for the Dupont Company for 28 years before retiring in 1991. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Gladys Hobbs;his children, Larry, Barbara Lindell & husband Ric; brothers, Bruce and Paul Wayne Hobbs;1 sister, Belle Coomer; grandchildren, Dana Hobbs, Tina Auen & husband Scottie, Jason Lindell, Erin Lindell and Sara Hobbs; great grandchildren; Austin, Jamal, Nick, Jaheim, Dylan, Sydney, and D'ayzia.
Funeral sercives will be 7pm, Monday, April 6th, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE, where visitation will begin at 6pm. Interment will be 10am, Tuesday, April 7th at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.
