Age 37, of Bear, DE, formerly of Newport, DE, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 15, 2008.
Mason worked in the accounting department at First USA in the late 1990's. He was a former member of Richardson United Methodist Church and currently attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. Mason enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Bass Fishing Club of Delaware.
Mason was preceded in death by his father, Samuel G. John. He is survived by his mother, Barbara S. John.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Tuesday, February 19th in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10 am and where burial will follow.
The family suggests contributions in Mason's memory to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Building Fund, 1842 Otts Chapel Rd., Newark, DE 19702.
