JAMES E. LANE, SR.
AGE: 83 • WILMINGTON
Jim passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the presence of his loving family.
Jim was the Owner and Operator of Lane’s Moving Co. and Consumer Movers until his retirement. Previously he worked at Town & Country Furniture, All American Engineering and Justis Brothers.
He had an admiration of American Bald Eagles and Cadillac cars. Jim enjoyed word search puzzles and classic country music.
Jim was preceded in death by his son, R. Alan Lane and his great great granddaughter, Payton Mae Fuller. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sue K. Lane; his children, James E. Lane, Jr., and Patricia Diaz; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11AM on Saturday, April 23 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions in Jim’s memory to the American Lung Association, 630 Churchmans Road, suite 202, Newark, DE 19702.
