Age 57, of Bear passed away suddenly on Friday,
November 23, 2012.
Jan was retired from Christiana Medical Center. She enjoyed reading, sewing and quilting.
Survivors include her husband, Keith;her daughter, Dawn Gorski Nickel; her stepchildren, Michael, Russell and Sara Teoli; her sisters and brothers, Kim Jay, Lyn, Sue and Guy (Diane); her father, Peter Berg and his wife B.K. Berg and their children, Megan Berg and Jason Daniels; her grandchildren, Taylor Gorski and Madison Nickel; her step-grandchildren, Kelsie and Bryan Russell, Gabriel Callahan and Alexander Teoli; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be 10:00am, Saturday, December 1st, at the New Castle Moose Lodge, 621 S. DuPont Hwy., where visitation will begin at 9:30am and where a reception will follow. Burial will be private.
The family suggests contributions in Jan's memory to the Helen F.Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Rd., Suite 1200, Newark, DE 19713.
