Janet Moody

Janet Regina Hough Moody, age 57, of North Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Monday January 18, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Janet was a 1981 graduate of Brandywine High School. She was a beloved bookkeeper for many companies, friends, and family until her true calling, motherhood. Janet was a “firecracker” but she embraced and loved all those who crossed her path. Her greatest joy in life was sharing laughs with her family and friends. Janet loved going on motorcycle road trips with her husband and friends, playing cards, reading, yard sale shopping, and listening to live music.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Hough and her brother, Jeff Hough.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Dave Moody; her children, Sean Moody (Donell), Cassandra Moody (Pat Roth) and Melissa Moody; and her sisters, Carol Nichols and Judy Brown as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. A celebration of life is to be determined.
