Jaroslaw “Jarek” Muziol, of Wilmington, formerly of Poland, age 69, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024.
Jarek was retired from Chrysler where he worked many years as a Pullman on the assembly line. He was also a skilled carpenter, taking on many home improvement projects over the years. He is fondly remembered by many for his helpful nature and calm demeanor.
Jarek was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Ewa Muziol. Before she passed, Jarek and Ewa enjoyed traveling together to visit family and friends in Poland and Canada and vacationing in the Dominican Republic.
Jarek is survived by his son Bart (Kristin) Muziol and daughter Justyna Muziol, both of Wilmington; his beloved grandchildren Noah and Holly Podolak and Sofia and Lukas Muziol; and his brothers Jacek (Bogusia) Muziol of Poland and Pawel (Alicja) Lewandowski of Scotland.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11 am at St. Hedwig Church, 408 S Harrison St, Wilmington, DE 19805. Burial will be private.
