Jean C. Castiglione

Newark, DE, formerly of Carteret, NJ - Jean went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 18, 2019.

Jean graduated from American Academy of Funeral Service and worked as a Funeral Director in New York City before she retired. She also assisted in Delaware at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home. Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Castiglione; her parents, Jean and Harry Menta, Jr; and her companion, Ray Gordon.

Survivors include her daughter, Gina T. Castiglione-Jeandell (TJ); her grandson, Preston Jeandell; her sisters, Lorraine McElwee (James) and Kathleen Bollaci (Fred); her nephews, Jason and Freddy; her nieces, Danica and Angela; and several great nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

Services will be at 8pm on Thursday, January 24 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 26 at 10:30 am at HOLY FAMILY CHURCH, 140 Emerson St, in Carteret, New Jersey 07008. Burial will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
