A resident of Newport for the past 53 years, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011.
Jeanette was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and it's Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality and the Altar Society. She had worked at Govatos for 12 years and retired from Sears Fashion Center after 23 years of service.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent "Jim" DeToro, in 1985; and a daughter, Becky DeToro Long in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Noble, who cared for her, and her husband Joe; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob and Angel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1pm on Thursday, June16th, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Newport Pike and Curtis Ave. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions in Jeanette's memory to Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Dr., Wilmington, DE 19804.
