Jeffrey M. Kane Jr, age 37, of Bear, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
Jeff was a 2001 graduate of Delcastle High School where he played soccer and track. He was a talented carpenter for many years and was a member of River of Love Christian Center. Jeff enjoyed electronics and gadgets.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Donna Kane and Jeff Kane Sr; his brother, John Eric Weidlein; and his grandparents, Harrison, Jackie, Hazel and James.
Survivors include his sons, Austin George and Kayden Shupe; his brothers, Allen Kane, Thomas Coleman and Jacob Weidlein; his aunt who raised him, Beth Weidlein; his stepfather, John Weidlein and his good friends who he loved.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Sunday, January 31 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Masks and social distancing will be required along with a capacity limit.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeff’s memory may be made to Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
