Jeffrey “Jeff to the Left the Mayor” Shields, age 55, of Newark, formerly of Bronx, New York, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
Jeff worked for Chase Manhattan Bank for over 20 years, He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and New York Knicks.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Patricia Shields; his sons, Simeon Shields and Mark Shields; his mother, Bertha Burke (Willie); his brother, Kenya J. Smith (Myrna); and his sisters, Veronice Maria McMillon (Brye) and Tana Joseph (Jamie).
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
