Age 80 of Elkton, MD, formerly of Newport, DE went to be with his parents, Jerome and Catherine, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
Jerry was retired from Delmarva Power and Light in 1994 after 38 years of service. He was a lifetime member of St. James Episcopal Church where he sang in the choir and was head of Church Properties. Jerry was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion. A 1952 graduate of Henry C. Conrad High School, Jerry loved water color painting.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bernice "Stumpy" Moore; his son, David Moore (Mari Grehofsky) of Newark, DE; his daughter, Catherine Alonzo of Albuquerque, NM; and his granddaughter, Arielle D'Amore.
Memorial Services will be 11:00am, Saturday,
November 10th at St. James Episcopal Church in Newport, where visitation will begin at 10:00am. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
