Age 58, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2007. Jerry was born, October 26, 1949 in Louisa, VA.
He spent his young life on the Winterthur Estate and then joined the Army. After the military he worked briefly in litho printing and also heavy equipment. Jerry then worked at General Motors before going into business for himself as a landscaper and caretaker.
He loved drag racing and was a member of the N.H.R.A.(National Hot Rod Association) and D.R.A.W. (Drag Racing Association of Women).
Survivors include his brother Gary W. Quisenberry & his wife Karen of Roanoke, VA and his daughter, Renee and her husband Joseph Fialkowski of Newark, De.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE, where visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Interment will be private at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
