Age 92 of Wilmington, passed away on Friday,
November 30, 2012.
Jessie was retired from Wilmington Trust after many years and continued to operate her late husband's business, Newport Janitorial Co., until the late 1980's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis W. Butler, in 1968; by her son, Gerald; her brothers, Stanley and Joseph Konopka; and a grandson. Survivors include her son's and their wives, Curtis (Linda), Richard(Mary), and Ronald(Karen);her brothers, Henry and Alex Konopka; her sister, Helen Tawelski; her 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11AM. Thursday, December 6th at the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, N.Dupont Pky, New Castle, where visitation will begina at 10AM.
The family suggests contributions in Jessie's memory to the SPCA, 458 Stanton-Christiana Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
