Age 74 of Newport, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012.
Joan retired from MBNA in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, J. Harvey Moore, Jr.in 1985 and her daughter, Catherine in 1961. Joan is survived by her children, Gail Moore Wersten (Rick); Patricia Moore Wild (Mark); John H. Moore; and her grandchildren, James Richardson, Alicia Wild, Ryan Moore and Megan Moore.
Funeral services will be 11am, Monday, July 23rd at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery, Lancaster Ave. and DuPont Rd., Wilmington.
The family suggests contributions in Joan's memory to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
