Joanne Rohm passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 16, 2024.
Joanne was born in 1936 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles Upole and Bessie McCrobe Upole.
A working mom, Joanne was employed by Bell Telephone Mechtron corp and EMR services.
Later, she would find her passion working for the post office at Zingos grocery store in Pike Creek. People would make special trips just to chat with Joanne and it was not uncommon to wait your turn in line
She was a pillar of strength and support and was always there to listen.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jodi Harringhton.
Joanne is survived by her husband of sixty seven years, Joe; son, Lawrence Rohm/Debbie Lawson; grandchildren, Blake Rohm and his wife Michelle, Michael Harrington and his wife Stephanie, Brent Rohm and his wife Valerie, Rebecca Shankaras and Airiane; great grandchildren, Jayden, Gianna and James; adored niece,
Dawnie Mansberry and her husband Mike; and best of friends, Wayne and Karina.
Her family would like to thank Medical Oncology and Hematology for their compassionate care.
