Joe Jones, age 44, of Newark, formerly of Schuylkill County, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
Joe worked at Thurston’s Pub as a cook. He enjoyed sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Notre Dame. Joe was a firm believer in the Sasquatch and believed that one day Big Foot would be found. He was a very social person who always made people laugh and was always the life of the party.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, James Jones; mother, Jolene Graves and Step Father Loile Graves.
Joe is survived by his brother, Jim Jones (Katrina); His sisters, Erica Graves and Marissa Graves; his grandmother, Patricia Miles; his nieces and nephews, Airyana, Elias, Isaac, Paige, and Shayleigh; and other extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be at 2 pm on Monday, October 28 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12:30 pm. Burial will be private.
