John W. Duvall II

John W. Duvall II, age 47, of Wilmington, formerly of Richardson Park, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

John worked as an autobody painter at Brandywine Auto Body for over 25 years.

He went to grade school at St. Matthews in Wilmington and then attended Delcastle High School.

John liked to play basketball in his younger years and enjoyed the beach.

John is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Alice Duvall and George and Barbara Ross; uncle, Michael Ross; aunt, Lori Duvall Dolan; and mother of his daughter, Roseann Hottes.

Survivors include his spouse, Melissa Scott-Duvall; his daughter, Brittany Lynn Duvall and her daughter, Milani Rose Kennedy; Melissa's sons, Nicholas Crossland and his daughter, Jade Lynn Crossland, and Victor Jacinito; parents, Beverly Ross Taggart (Mark) and John Duvall (Cindy); brother, Craig Taggart (Jennifer) and Jesse Duvall; and sister, Kelsey M. Taggart (Sean Charles) and their kids, Rowan and Logan; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Richardson Park United Methodist Church, 11 N Maryland Avenue Wilmington, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 11:30 AM.
