John passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
John was a graduate of Delcastle High School where he learned to be a sheet metal mechanic. He began his work career as a sheet metal mechanic before working at Wilmington Billiards. In 1992 he opened his own business, Sure Shot Billiards.
John attended Calvary Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, archery and playing cards.
John was preceded in death by his father Lawson W. Lynch and his nephew Kyle Lynch. He is survived by his wife Sharon D. Lynch; daughter Allyson Barreca; granddaughter Cierra Barreca; mother Mary Lynch; sister Kathy Howell; brothers Bill Lynch (Susan), Michael Lynch (Donna) and Paul Lynch; father and mother-in-law Jack and Norma Day; brothers-in-law John Day and John Lombardo and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 11am on Monday, March 16 at CALVARY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 701 S. Maryland Ave. Wilmington, De 19804. Visitation will be from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, March 15 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport.
