John P. O'Brien, age 56, of Wilmington, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
John graduated from McKean Highschool in 1984. He was a member of the Kirkwood Soccer Club. John liked to be outdoors. He had a love for animals and enjoyed traveling, swimming, and music.
John is preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Mary and his uncle Anthony Stephen Hayes.
He is survived by his sister Kathleen A. Williams (Stephen), aunt Annette Thompson, cousins John and Stephen Hayes, and many nieces and nephews.
Services for John will be held at 10am on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 15 Gender Road Newark, DE 19713. A Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE 19808.
