Age 49, of Newport, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013.
Johnny was a long time roofer in the Wilmington area. He enjoyed visiting Delaware Park and was an avid softball player.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and John Jr. He is survived by his children, Julianne Peters, Austin Peters and Andi Peters; his grandson, Colton; his brother Ed Taylor (Lisa); his spouse Kathy Peters and other extended family.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm on Friday, March 8 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 1 pm. Burial will be private.
The family requests contributions to the funeral home to assist with the expenses.
