Age 78, a lifelong resident of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2012, in the presence of his family.
John worked for many years at the DuPont Company Experimental Station before retiring 1992. He was a 1951 graduate of Conrad High School and attended the University of Delaware. John was a US Air Force veteran. He was an active member of Peniel United Methodist Church and he enjoyed sailing.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Lily White; his sister, Dorothy and brother, Franklin White. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jessamin White; his children, James White and Jeanne McCaslin and his husband Roger;and his grandchildren, Andrew, Krysta, Katie, Alexandra and Emily.
