John W. Wright, age 60, of Newark, formerly of Rambleton Acres, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Wilmington Veterans Hospital.
Johnny was an Army Veteran. He worked in the flooring and painting industry for many years. Johnny attended William Penn High School. He enjoyed Nascar, football and baseball.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Joan Wright, his sisters, Kathleen Gillis and Teresa Docherty and his brother, Melvin Wright Jr.
Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Townsley (John); his brother, Daniel Wright and his cherished nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid19 restrictions, funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Johnny’s memory may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
