John passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016.
John was a graduate of Delcastle High School. He worked at Cress Collision Service for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, bowling, watching Eagles football and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
John was preceded in death by his daughter, Erin Wright-Wyckoff; his father, Philip Wright, Sr. and his brother, Philip Wright, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Feeley (James); his mother, Anna Wright; his sisters, Diane Woish and Maryann Gilderoy (Scott); his granddaughter, Allison; his girlfriend, Sissy Burnett and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, November 10 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport. Burial will be private.
in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in John's memory to the Delaware Humane Association, 701 A. Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
