Jose T. Betancourt, age 97, of Wilmington, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
Jose worked at Harbinson Dairy for around 45 years. He enjoyed cooking and watching TV, especially game shows. In his younger years he played guitar and sang in a band (Better than Elvis according to him!).
Jose was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Draper.
Survivors include his son, Robert Betancourt (Lisa) and step daughter, Joan Enslen (Bob); grandchildren, Gibson Betancourt, Mindy Bundy (Jayson) and Blake Draper (Lindsay) and great grandchildren, Jayminson Bundy and Addison Bundy.
Funeral services will be private.
