Joseph B Auger Jr, 78, of Claymont, DE passed away on July 18, 2022. He was born to Joseph Sr. and Ruth (Harrington) Auger.
Jack graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in Manchester, NH, and was a longtime resident of Manchester and Hampton, NH, before moving to Claymont, DE.
Joe had a lifelong love of horses and harness racing, was a longtime member of the USTA, and was employed as the Race Secretary at the Harrah’s Chester Casino Race Track.
He was predeceased by his father, mother, and sister, Mary Auger.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Auger-Campbell (Paul) and her mother, Jaqueline Auger, his step-children: Ken Gorski, Amy Waterhouse, and Philip Gorski, along with each of their families, and many dear friends.
At his request, no services will be held. His memory can best be honored by watching a horse race, raising a glass with good friends, or playing a round of golf.
