Age 83 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009.
Joseph was a US Army Air Corp veteran during WWII. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Donna, in 2002; son, Billy in 1999; his sisters, Margaret Gibbons and Katherine Simpson; and his beloved dog, Jenny. Joseph is survived by his niece, Linda Keffer and her husband Jim; nephews, Michael and Kenny Gibbons; great nieces, Elaina and Madison; his great nephew Dillon; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be 11am, Friday, December 18th, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE, where visitation will begin at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.
