Age 39, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Newark, DE, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
Joe has worked for First USA Bank, Delaware Park and as a finishing carpenter. He was a member of Bethlehem UMC in Thorton, PA, where he did mission camps for housing repairs and attended the Friday morning Men's Group. Joe was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and participated in sports fantasy leagues.
Joe was preceded in death by his mom, Lucy Tribuani-Mays. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Amy C. Mays; his father, Barry Mays (Susanna); and his brothers, Michael Mays (Adele), Dean Mays and Barry Mays, Jr.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Wednesday, January 30 at PENIEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 115 E. Market St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be private.
