Joseph L. Rappa Jr, age 69, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
Joe was a graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School. He worked as a master plumber for 47 years. Joe enjoyed gardening, fishing, eating crabs and the Jersey Shore. He loved his corvettes and his dogs.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Johanna.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Lynn Rappa; son, Nick Rappa; father, Joseph L. Rappa Sr; and siblings, Albert and Johanna.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 6 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am.
