Juan Jose "Cuquito" Santiago, Age 63, of Wilmington, formerly of Orocovis, Puerto Rico, joined his father and brothers in Heaven on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Cuquito worked for the City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors in nature, motorcycles, cars, boxing and helping others in the community. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Juan Jose Rivera, Jose Luis Santiago (Grace), Christian Santiago (Brittany), Juan G. Santiago and Natanael Santiago; daughter, Keishla Santiago; nine grandchildren; former spouse, Migdalia Fernandez and other extended family.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike Wilmington, DE 19805.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made toward the funeral expense.
