Julian M. "Tejon" Resendiz, age 60, of Wilmington, transitioned on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Tejon worked as a chef for many years. He enjoyed cooking, sewing, collection hats, and especially liked watching and playing "football".
Tejon is preceded in death by his brother, Pepe Resendiz.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Ricky; sons, Julian M. Resendiz Jr. and Jared F. Resendiz (Dani); daughters, Elsi Resendiz (David), Monica P. Diaz, Jazmin Diaz and Brenda Diaz; and grandchildren, Marilyn Resendiz, Nami Resendiz, Luna Munoz, Dalilah Munoz, Janet Jimenez , Ashley Jimenez, Natalia Jimenez, Jaden Jimenez, Violeta Araiza, Jose Araiza, Aylin Araiza, Sherlyn Araiza, Jonathan Araiza, Kayla Diaz, Brittany Diaz,Ana Diaz and Jace Diaz.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at NICHOLS - GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike Wilmington, DE 19805.
The family requests that you please wear white is possible.
