Julio Munoz Santiago

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Julio Munoz Santiago, who left us on Monday, March 17th, 2025, after suffering a sudden and severe heart attack.

Born in 1958, in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, Julio was a remarkable man, standing out even among his many siblings. He moved from Puerto Rico to Wilmington, DE, where he built a beautiful life with his cherished family.

Julio was a one-of-a-kind personality, someone who made his presence felt wherever he went. His infectious smile, unforgettable laugh, and truly unique character left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

He is survived by his loving wife, Milta (Coco), and three children: Julio Jr. (41), Irmarie (38), and Juan (34). While these are his immediate survivors, his extended family and countless friends also mourn his loss, as his love and influence reached far and wide.

Funeral Services will be at 11:15 AM on Monday, March 24 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am.

Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808 at 10 am on Wednesday, March 26.
