On Saturday, September 9, 2017, in the presence of her loved ones, Heaven welcomed another Angel. Karen Marie Brainard-Yeatman, of Newark, formerly of Ardentown was 47.
Karen was born on Valentines Day and was a 1988 graduate of Delcastle High School. She loved cooking shows, writing, and spending time with her family. Karen’s greatest joy was her son, Mark.
Survivors include her son, Mark Yeatman; her parents, Beverley B. Fleming and Ed and Marcia Brainard; her siblings, Kim Celis (Joe), Mary Beth Brainard, Mark Blackway (Gina), Holli Bradley, Michelle Emerich (Rory), Amy Ruggerio (Bill) and Steve Brainard; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and her former husband, Ray Yeatman.
Services and Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Karen's memory made to an educational fund for her son at : Utah Educational Savings Plan, checks made out to UESP, sent to Kim Celis, 767 Gilbert Road, Mooers, New York, 12958.
