Kathleen Claire “Kathy” Lawler, age 56, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, 6/15/2021. Kathy was born in Newark, DE, the daughter of the late William J Lawler Jr and Catherine Theresa Lawler.
Kathy is survived by her children Ashley Revis of Newark DE and Johnny W Lawler, Grand-children Jillian Jade Lawler, and Maximus Rivas, siblings William M Lawler (Christy) of Portsmouth, VA, Charlotte M Knapp(Ted) of Bear DE, Mary C Dicesare (Lou) of Tampa FL, Patrick C Lawler of Tampa FL, Maureen A Hrycek (Sam) of Bear DE, Shelagh T Temple of Elkton MD, and Debbie E Crane (Ashley) of Wilmington DE, and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Kathy attended Glasgow High School. She loved her dog Tiberius, going to the beach, shopping for antiques, and going to thrift stores. Kathy’s smile was contagious, she was always happy go lucky, and always let everyone know how much she loved them.
Services will be held at Nichols and Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis St, Newport, DE, 19804 on Friday, June 25. Visitation will begin at 10am with a service following at 11am. Burial will be private.
