Kimberly M. Martine, age 56, of Wilmington, passed away on April 17, 2022.
Kim worked as a crane operator for 20 years and was a member of IUOE Local Union 542.
Earlier in life, she attended St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Millsboro and was a member of the Armed Forces.
Kim enjoyed fishing, surf fishing, the beach, boating, motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.
Kim is preceded in death by her grandparents Virginia and William Semple, mother, Mattie VonRitchie and brother, David Buchanan.
Kim is survived by her life partner, Dee Weller; brother, Thomas (Tonia) VonRitchie and nieces, Haley VonRitchie and Sam Jeppi along with many cousins. Also, 3 special friends. Mike Turner, a close friend who we consider as family. Stephanie Long, and Linda Lawson, who were both at Kim's side until the end.
Services will be private. A memorial service, and celebration of Kim's life will be held some time in the near future, and those who are invited will be notified.
