Laura Beth Connell, age 45, of Newport, formerly of Richland Hills, Texas, joined her beloved parents on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
Laura dedicated her life to her son.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Janis Connell and her son, Walton Andrew Connell.
Survivors include her sister, Andi Bender (Jim) of Newport; her brother, Scott A. Connell of Fort Worth, TX; her nephew, Joshua P. Graber; her niece, Jill McCormick (Michael); and her great nieces and nephews, Tyler A. Graber, Jake McCormick, Mallory McCormick and Alyssa McCormick.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 22 at St. James Episcopal Church, 2 S Augustine St, Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Laura’s memory may be made to Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence at dcadv.org/how-to-help/donate.html.
