Laura K. Neugebauer Day
Age 92, of North Wilmington passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009.
Laura was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Carl A. Neugebauer on November 5, 1980 and Harvey A. Day, her husband of 2 years, on April 1, 1991.
Survivors include her sisters, Ann Tisdel & husband James of Wilmington; and Janet S. Smiley of Wilmington; her sister-in-law, Bette Smith; 8 nieces & nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Services will be, 11am, Thursday, July 2nd, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, where visitation will begin at 10am.
Interment will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, Lancaster Ave. & Dupont Rd., Wilmington.
Laura's family wishes to thank the staff members of Forwood Manor, Compassionate Care Hospice and its Crisis Care Team for their devotion during her final illness.
The family suggests contributions, in Laura's memory, to Peniel United Methodist Church, 115 E. Market St., Newport, DE 19804.
