Age 98 of Stanton, DE, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
Lena retired in 1980 from the Wilmington General Hospital.She was devoted to her family.
Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Watson Steele in 1959. Survivors include her daughters, Shelby Harrah, Clara Cooke and Sharon Goel and her husband Reggie; her 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, July 2nd at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E.Justis St., Newport where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. Dupont Pky., New Castle.
The family suggests contributions in Lena's memory to Heartland Hospice.
