Age 90, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of New Castle, DE, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011, in the presence of his family.
Mr. Hamm retired from the Woodlawn Trustees in 1985. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1578 in New Castle and he enjoyed fishing, crabbing and woodworking.
Mr. Hamm was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Dorothy M. Hamm in 1985 and his daughter Alice Hamm Werts in 1984. Mr. Hamm was the oldest and last surviving of 8 children.Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Marshall and Nancy Baker; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Donna Hamm;16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 9 in the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont HWY, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 1 PM. Burial will be in the adjoining Memorial Park.
