Lew passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. He was a bricklayer for several area companies. Lew was a 1977 graduate of Delcastle High School. He enjoyed his family, fishing, gardening and riding his Harley.
Lew was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Virginia Thomas. He is survived by his daughters, Sabrina Thomas and Dawn Daffern (Eric); his sister, Tina M. Bulloch (Gordon); his brother, Lloyd H. Thomas Jr. (Johnnalyn); his 4 grandchildren; 1 niece and 4 nephews.
A gathering for family and friends will be from 7 to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, August 5 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport.
The family would appreciate contributions in lieu of flowers in Lew's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 405 East Marsh Lane, Suite 4, Newport, DE 19804.
