Heaven gained an Angel on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Lil was 95 years old.
Lil worked for the Delaware State Hospital for many years. She enjoyed meeting her sisters at Delaware Park every Saturday and spending time with her family. Lil loved animals, especially cats and dogs.
Lil was preceded in death by her son, Howard J. Morris, Jr; her grandson, Thomas Boulden; and her sisters, Alice Hicks and Mary Hitchens.
Survivors include her children, Mary Ann Manning (Charlie), Sandra Boulden, Lawrence Morris and Carol Parsons (Robert); her sister, Clara Snyder; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, at 12 noon at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lil’s memory can be made to your favorite animal rescue.
