Linda S. Seeney of New Castle, DE, age 72, passed away on Good Friday, April 15, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE the daughter of the late Myrtle F. McAllister and Arthur Slape.
Ms. Seeney worked in retail throughout her entire life. Working in such stores as Macy's, Strawbridges, Matthews Hallmark and most recently, Marshalls in FL.
In her youth, Linda was a member of the Blue Rock Drum and Bugle Corps of Wilmington, DE and Pennsgove, NJ. She marched with Blue Rocks from 1960-1969 in the color guard. These were truly the happiest times of her life.
Linda loved traveling, crafting and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her sister Donna Ferreri of Pearland, TX and her two children Jennifer Seeney of Philadelphia and David Seeney(Kelley) of Wilmington.
It was Linda's wish to be cremated and her ashes scattered in various locations. There is no funeral service scheduled at this time. A small gathering of friends and family will be planned.
