Lori age 58, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at her home. Lori who was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL was a 1977 graduate of Brandywine H.S., received her B.S. in Social work from Eastern College in PA, and went on to earn her R.N. degree. She worked for Easter Seals in Newport, Nurses N Kids, Generations Health Care, Manor Care and the Kutz Home in Wilmington.
Lori loved animals. She fostered dogs, rescued dogs and is survived by her Cockapoo, Sadie and 3 cats. She was creative involving mosaic work with mirrors, picture frames, table tops, etc.
Lori was predeceased by her father, H. Ross Manifold and her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Patti and Larry McBride of Wilmington; her son, Ross M. Stoops of Philadelphia; her daughter, Caileigh Stoops of FL; step-sister, Amy Andruzzi (Rob); her niece, Amanda Andruzzi and her nephew, Jamie Andruzzi.
Memorial Services will be at 1 PM on Saturday, December 2 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12:30 PM. Burial private.
The family would appreciate any remembrance in Lori's memory to either Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Drive, Wilm. DE 19804 or to do an anonymous good deed for someone.
