Lorna Anne Baird, age 61, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Lorna was a 1980 graduate of John Dickinson High School. She worked in retail/sales for many years.
Lorna enjoyed spending time at the beach and enjoyed life. She enjoyed her grandchildren, especially, Trinity, whom she raised.
Lorna was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ruby Medkeff; her sister, Mary Ellen Parsons; her brother Samuel Medkeff Jr. and her grandson.
Survivors include her spouse of 35 years, Robert Baird; children, Daryll Overby Jr. (Meghan) and D.J. Baird; brother, Robert Medkeff and many grandchildren.
Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 6:00 PM.
