Luci went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 6, 2009, in the presence of her family after a courageous battle with Lupus.
Luci was born on August 15, 1947 in Berkeley Springs, WV. Prior to her illness she was employed by Schmaucher in Newark, DE.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilda and Clark Schriver and her brother, Jim Schriver.Survivors include her husband, of 42 years, Harold Creek; sons, Todd & Beth Creek of Rising Sun, MD; Eric & Kathy Creek of Elkton, MD; Greg Creek & Doug Stewart of Wilmington, DE; and Jeff Creek of Charlestown, MD; 7
grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Jacob, Victoria, Rachel,
Vivian and Jeffrey; and her siblings, Richard Schriver of Berkeley Springs, WV; Linda Cashe of Franklinton, NC; and Clyde Schriver & Glenn Schriver both of Youngsville, NC.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been donated to a teaching hospital.
A celebration of life service will be 1pm, Wednesday, June 10th at Life Community Church, 750 Otts Chapel Road, Newark, where visitation will begin at 12noon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Luci's name to the Lupus Foundation of America, www.lupus.org.
