Lucille M. Dunfee, age 77, of Wilmington, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Along with spending time with her family, Lucille enjoyed Delaware Park, playing cards, crossword puzzles and the taste of freshly steamed crabs.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Don in 2020 and was the last surviving of 6 children to Frank and Virginia Kempski.
Survivors include her daughter, Trish Parks (John); her son, Alfred "Don" Dunfee Jr (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Haley, Adam, Kyle, Natalie and Colton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, May 20 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lucille's memory may be made to the Helen C. Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19713.
