Luraleen Marie Denny - Rodriguez peacefully passed away at her youthful age of 54 at her
lovely home on May 5, 2022. She was the caring wife of Jose Rodriguez for 22 years. She was
also the graceful mother of five children; Peter, Patrick, Stephine, Kyle, and Joseph.
The daughter of Eileen Keast and Alfred O Denny, she was born in Chester PA, where she
made her communion at Resurrection Church. While her education at William Penn grade
school flourished to Chester high school.
During Lori's compassionate life she touched the hearts of many. Her earlier years were
adventurous and spontaneous, working at Franklin mint and pursuing her love for others by
giving care to the sisters at the Assisi house of Newman University.
Her later years were filled with laughs and love at home with her family never taking life for
granted while she reminded herself every day how proud she was to have 12 years of
sobriety.
Lori is survived by her loving husband, José Manuel Rodriguez, her brother, Michael, her two
sons, Joseph (19) and Kyle Mathew (24), And her beautiful Chihuahua, Tinytoon.
The neighborhood will never be the same without the smell of her cooking wafting down the
street, or the warm inviting smile that would change the mood in a room, touching the hearts of
many, she will be missed and always remembered.
Memorial services will be held at the beautiful Anson B. Nixon Park on Sunday, May 22 where she spent time with
her family enjoying nature.
The candle lighting will be held from 12 PM to 4 PM, in celebration of her life
