Lydia Staszesky

Age 87, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Broadmeadow in Middletwon.
Emma who was a homemaker was very devoted to her family. “Mom Mom” was thankful to Blake and Lauren for her “newest” great granddaughter , Grace Madelyn, whom she loved very much.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles “Hen” Staszesky in 2007. Survivors include her sons, Albert and Henry; her daughters, Sandra O’Neal and Patty Steen; her sister, Iola Futty; her 8 grandchildren and numerous great and great great children.
Emma’s family wish to thank the staff of Broadmeadow for their care, concern and love shown to Mom. Patty would also like to thank her brother Hen for taking care of the house and to her husband Don for taking care of the yard.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM on Friday, May 10 in the chapel at GRACELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, N. DuPont PKWY, New Castle where visitation will begin at 10 AM.
The family suggests contributions in Emma’s memory to the Delaware Humane Association, 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801
